Our Process
We take pride in creating birdseed blends that are as unique as the birds in your area. By combining local bird data with personalized insights, we ensure every mix is thoughtfully curated for your specific region. Our experts handcraft each batch, prioritizing both quality and sustainability, so you can feel confident that our birdseed is as good for your backyard birds as it is for the environment. Here’s how we do it:
Tailored to Your Location
Generic birdseed often falls short when it comes to attracting the right birds for your area. That’s why we start by getting to know you and your location. We personally review your responses and analyze bird sighting data for your region. Using this information, we create a custom birdseed blend tailored to attract the birds you want and elevate your birdwatching experience. And because every bag is made-to-order just for you, we can accommodate special requests to ensure your blend perfectly suits your backyard visitors.
Exceptional Quality
We take pride in using only the highest quality ingredients in our birdseed blends. Unlike other mixes that are filled with sticks, chaff, and junk filler seeds, our premium blends are clean and packed with nutrient-rich black oil sunflower seeds, select hulled sunflower seeds, safflower, white millet, striped sunflower, a variety of peanuts, and more—all carefully chosen to nourish and attract a wide range of birds. For insect-loving species, we also offer dried mealworms to meet their dietary needs. Because our blends contain only what birds actually eat, you’re not wasting money on seeds that end up kicked to the ground. Every batch is hand-mixed in small quantities and made-to-order, ensuring freshness and quality in every bag.
Birds of a feather, say no to plastic
Ok, that might not be how the saying goes. The truth is we care about birds, people, and the planet and therefore use only paper product bags, recyclable boxes, and fully compostable transparent pouches.
Because high-quality ingredients contain a higher oil content, you may notice dark spots of discoloration on our paper product bags. We recommend storing your tailored birdseed blends in an airtight container to maintain their maximum freshness. See our selection of colorful galvanized metal pails and add one anytime to your order.
More birds! Since we began putting this seed into our bird feeders, our "clientele" has increased tremendously, along with their variety. If we were restauranteurs, we would feel both successful and inclusive!
