Love the pail! It is exactly as I had envisioned. The pail is holding three 5lb bags of hulled bird seed and shelled peanuts and a small bag of suet nuggets as well as a scoop and a flat, plastic container of everything pre-mixed for my bird feeder. The cover does have a couple of blemishes - either dents or slight bulges - which is surprising as it was packaged extremely well and took forever to remove from the delivery box. It is doing the job. Perfect height and width. Fits perfectly in the corner of my kitchen and is keeping the bird food and any accompanying smells concealed from bears and mice. Very happy. Love that the pail also has a carry handle. Nice touch.

Since we began putting this seed into one our bird feeders, our "clientele" have increased tremendously, along with their variety. If we were restauranteurs, we would feel both successful and inclusive!

Within a few hours I had cardinals and their babies along with finches at my bird feeder. They love the seed!

I very rarely leave reviews, but had such a positive experience with this product that I had to share. I received a subscription as a gift and am blown away. Have tried many different seed mixes over the last year and nothing comes close to this product. Within 2 hours of switching to Happy Birdwatcher's blend, I had dozens of blue jays, cardinals and other beautiful, singing birds in my yard that I had never seen before with other seed mixes. Extremely high quality, couldn't be happier.

When I opened my first box, looked at the variety of bird food, I was very pleased with the quality and the amount of bird food. It is nice to have the bird food delivered once a month and I do not have to be concerned with running out of bird food. Yes, bird watching makes me happy and peaceful!

My mother’s neighborhood has filled up with new houses recently and although she enjoys her new neighbors she misses some of the birds stop by her backyard feeders. Without wooded lots nearby she wasn’t attracting the variety of birds she was in years past. My sister and I gifted her a subscription to Happy Birdwatcher birdseed hoping it would increase the traffic to her feeders and I’m happy to say it has! My birds love the bird seed! Especially the suet!! My wood peckers loved it

We’ve never had so many finches and sparrows waiting for a spot on two of our 6 port tube feeders. We run out of of the wild bird mix after two weeks. Our kids tell us the backyard sounds like the aviary at the museum. Im truly a happy birdwatcher with very happy birds.

My partner and I have been subscribed to the Splendid Box for a while now, and it is one of the best purchases we've made. Before Happy Birdwatcher, we would maybe see a few robins-- now, we've got goldfinches galore, tufted titmice, chickadees, wrens, song sparrows, house finches, and crows visiting the porch every day.

Happy Birdwatcher has also become one of my favorite companies. The product itself is always fresh, the packaging is both beautiful and environmentally friendly, and I love the subscription option. Last month I emailed to ask if it was possible to add a bag of the bird-friendly coffee to my next box, and Susan made it so easy (and the coffee is great, too!).
