Can't keep enough Finch & Bunting seed on hand

It hasn't even been 2 weeks since I got a brand-new bag of Finch & Bunting seed and I already need to order another one. Not only do House Finches love it but so do Brown-headed Cowbirds, Common Grackles, and squirrels (yes, I mistakenly put the feeder on the pole with no baffle. They ate the seed and the perches off the feeder.) I've tried cheaper brands from the hardware store with little success. Happy Birdwatcher has the best products for my backyard buddies. The suet never lasts more than a day. The woodpeckers come running when I put it out. And, need I say more about the Finch & Bunting seed.

Mother’s Day w/the Birds

Everyone in my family is really getting into bird watching. I’m new to it, but my parents have been feeding and watching birds since I was a kid. I started feeding them because I wanted to feel a sense of nuturing nature after the passing of my dog, and it has been really therapeutic. My only hesitation was all the plastic being produced, which seems counter to the point of trying to help support nature. So I went in search of paper bag bird seed. So, Happy Bird Watcher was a terrific answer to that problem. When I received my order, I was pretty impressed with the care and detail taken to package the order in such a beautiful and eco-friendly way —so much so, that I asked my sister if she wanted to go halves on getting an order for my Mom for Mother’s Day. We did and she loved it. The whole day became about sharing pics of our gardens and feeders and talking about birds. It was a lot of fun. Great memory and might become a tradition.
