My birds are used to the Hot Pepper version of the Happy Seed Box. This blend was new to them. I put this new Nuts $ Seeds blend in the hopper feeder, followed by a layer of the Hot Pepper blend, followed by another layer of the Nuts & Seeds blend. Went out to check on the feeder tonight and all that was left was the Nut & Seed blend. All the Hot Pepper blend was gone! So the Hot Pepper appears to be their favorite and they are so-so about the Nuts & Seeds blend.

Our Seeds, Nuts & Fruit blend really shines when served on its own in a tray or hopper feeder (as opposed to being mixed), which helps invite a wider variety of birds like jays, woodpeckers, and nuthatches. Happy birdwatching!
there seems to be no end to the birds congregation at my feeders due I’m sure to the new bird seed I purchased. They Lv it
I feel like I have my own group of feathered followers. Right now with the seasons changing and the birds are back in droves I have other critters in my yard as well. I feel like like our yard is back to when we first moved in. My husband saw a squirrel stretched out on the side fence, and a mother opossum just made a next on top of our awning. The only thing missing is an Orb spider spinning a web on our back porch! I hope with the birds visiting us we will see Orb spiders again. (I am assuming it was the birds eating the Black Widows before or maybe it was the opossum or some other urban wildlife. Finally, I feel my garden is becoming balanced again.
