Be Patient But Use the Spicy Mix If You Have Dogs

I waited a few weeks before I intended to leave a review. At first, I tried putting it up on my dog's crates so that the feeder was out of their reach but that's too unnatural for my finches, sparrows and doves so I resolved to put it on the lawn and walk the dogs for a few weeks instead of letting them outside.

I have two shibas so they can eat spicy for some reason! Anyway, hubby and I now have a good system going where the birds actually prefer this ground feeder to the hanging one (not HB brand). The tube feeder can have a rest, too. We don't have any bluebirds or carnivorous birds that I can see, so I might have to unsubscribe the mealworms for now.

Very well-made, weather-proofed feeder and I appreciate that air can circulate via the mess screen on the bottom.
